Makhni chaanp

Makhni chaanp


Ingredients:
Mutton chops ½ kg
Yogurt ¼ kg
Boiled tomatoes 3
Cinnamon 2 pieces
Butter 100 gm
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Cream 4 tbsp
tomato puree 1 ½ tbsp
Salt to taste
Ingredients for dry masala:
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Cinnamon powder ½ tsp
Cardamom powder ½ tsp
Cloves powder ½ tsp
White pepper ½ tsp

Method:
1. Take a bowl and add ¼ kg yogurt, 1 tbsp lemon juice, salt to taste, ½ tsp cinnamon powder, ½ tsp cardamom powder, ½ tsp cloves powder, 1 tsp red chili powder and ½ tsp white pepper, mix well.
2. Then add the mutton chops and coat with the marinade
3. In a pan heat 2 tbsp of oil and add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, fry for 1-2 minutes. Now add the marinated chops and stir fry for 4-5 minutes. Then add 1 ½ tbsp tomato puree, 100 gm butter and 1- 1 ½ cup of water,
4. In the meantime in a blender blend 3 tomatoes and water as required to make a paste.
5. Take another pan and cook the paste along with 2 pieces of cinnamon. When the water gets dry remove the cinnamon pieces and turn the flame off .
6. After 20-25 minutes check the chops, when it gets tender add the tomato paste and stir fry for 4-5 minutes on high flame. Now add 4 tbsp cream, cook for a 4-5 minutes
7. . When the oil comes on top turn the flame off
8. The makhni chaanp is ready to serve
