Almonds Kheer

Almonds Kheer


Ingredients

200 grams almonds
1 packet saffron
½ kg milk
...125 grams whole dried milk
½ cup sugar
20 grams pistachios
¼ tsp cardamom powder
2 tbsp rose essence
2 tbsp clarified butter
5 tbsp gram flour

Method
• Boil and peel off skin of 200 grams almonds and 20 grams pistachios. Finely slice some of the dry fruits for garnishing and keep aside.
• In a cooking pot, add ½ kg milk, 5 tbsp gram flour and 2 tbsp clarified butter. Cook on low flame.
• When mixture begins to thicken, add chopped almonds, ½ cup sugar and 2 tbsp rose essence.
• Add 1 packet saffron after a while and mix.
• When mixture has reached a thicker consistency, add 125 grams whole dried milk and mix thoroughly.
• Take out in a serving dish and garnish with almonds and pistachios. Delicious Almonds Kheer is ready.
