~Chaney ki Daal Ka Halwa




Chana daal 500 gm
5-6 ilaichi

Soak the daal for a few hours. Boil it with the ilaichi and mash of grind.
Sugar as required
Ghee ~ 1 cup
Zaffran soaked in water
Ilaichi powder ~ 1/4 tsp
Jaifal ~ 1/4 tsp
Pista, almond, khopra ~ as required
Kewra water

METHOD:

Heat ghee in a Pan and add ilaichi powder. When it releases smell and daal and cook for maybe about 10-15 mins. Then add sugar accodring to your taste and cook till the daal is done and the colour darkens a bit. Finally add caffran, kewra and jaifal. Cook for a few mins.
